Why it didn't stick last time
You have lost weight before. The question worth four minutes is not how — you already know how — it is why it came back. This is a check on the pattern underneath: which of your drives is running hot, which has gone quiet, and what each one actually needs. It is not a personality quiz.
Results appear on screen at the end. No payment. No obligation.
Why this exists
You can see what you overdo. You can't see what's missing.
A drive fails in two opposite directions, and from the outside they look identical. That is why the same advice — eat less, try harder — gets handed to both, and only works for one of them.
Running distorted
Fully present, aimed away from your own life
Driven, reliable, exhausted. You read it as virtue, so you never examine it. What it needs is a limit and a redirect — and "try harder" is an accelerant.
Gone quiet
Absent, with no symptom to point at
Agreeable, busy, flat. Dormancy doesn't hurt, so nothing flags it. What it needs is activation and evidence — and "try harder" is words with nobody home to receive them.
What you walk away with
Four things, in four minutes
A name for the pattern
This is a known configuration, described for a century. It is not a character defect and it is not unique to you.
The right direction of fix
Shadow and dormant need opposite interventions. Knowing which one you are is the difference between progress and more of the same.
Language for the missing part
"My King is dormant" is actionable. "I need to get my act together" is not.
Sequencing
What to work on first — the question no generic program answers, and the one the twelve weeks are built around.
Where this comes from
A hundred years of work on the same four figures
The four masculine archetypes — King, Warrior, Magician, Lover — come from Carl Jung's structural psychology and were developed for adult men by Robert Moore and Douglas Gillette. The assessment also draws on Robert Johnson, Joseph Campbell and James Hillman.
The scoring is ipsative — it compares your four archetypes against each other, within you. It does not compare you to anyone else, and there is no ranking, score or leaderboard, because between-person comparison on this material would be meaningless.
- King — order, blessing, stewardship
- Warrior — discipline, capacity, willing discomfort
- Magician — knowledge turned into transformation
- Lover — appetite, connection, pleasure without compulsion
Each is reported in one of three states: in balance, running distorted, or dormant.
The four things men ask
Before you start
Is this a psychological test?
No. It is an educational self-reflection tool built on archetypal psychology. It does not diagnose anything, it is not clinical, and it is not a substitute for assessment by a licensed professional. If something it raises concerns you, take it to one.
Do I have to give my email to see the result?
No. Your result appears on screen at the end of the assessment.
What if I don't believe in archetypes?
You don't have to. Treat them as four named patterns of behaviour that show up reliably in men and that have been described in the same terms for a long time. The value is in the distinction between a trait that is overrunning and one that is absent — and that distinction holds whatever you call the four figures.
Is this just a lead magnet for the program?
It is the front door of the program, and I am not going to pretend otherwise. It is also genuinely useful on its own, it costs nothing, and the result is yours whether or not you ever speak to me again.

Then bring the result to the program.
The twelve weeks are sequenced against what the assessment finds. Same curriculum, different order of operations, depending on which way your pattern runs.
